For the convenience of the conference, a block of sleeping rooms have been reserved for attendees at the Marriott Boston Copley Place Hotel and the Colonnade Hotel in Boston, Massachussetts. The conference rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.45%) and is based on single or double occupancy. Reservation Deadline:  25 August 2006

The conference rates are available for the dates of 16 September through 22 September 2006 based on availability. When making hotel reservations please refer to the OCEANS 2006 Conference to receive the discounted rate. Reservations must be made by 25 August 2006 to ensure the conference rate.

The Hotels requires a one night deposit to accompany the reservation either in the form of a credit card or check.  Guaranteed reservations are held until 6:00am the following morning, at which time the reservation and deposit are forfeited. 

Reservation cancellations must be received by 6:00pm prior to the arrival date.  Any guaranteed reservations cancelled after 24 hours prior to the date of arrival will be charged a cancellation fee equal to one night?s room and tax.

Requests for accommodations received after the deadline will be accepted on a space available basis at the prevailing rate.  Reservation requests for specific room types, views and bedding are subject to availability at the time of arrival and not guaranteed.
